Amazon India is introducing a 15-minute delivery service in Bengaluru, tapping into the quick commerce market. Amit Agarwal, Amazon's Senior Vice-President, noted the rising urban demand for speedy essential deliveries. This innovation marks Amazon's global foray into ultra-fast deliveries, starting with Bengaluru and expanding to other cities. In a parallel move, Myntra launched "M-Now," ensuring 30-minute fashion and lifestyle deliveries, aiming for a nationwide presence after initial success in Bengaluru.

Amazon India is gearing up to unveil a game-changing 15-minute delivery service in Bengaluru this month, stepping into the swiftly evolving quick commerce market, as per a report by The Economic Times.

Amit Agarwal, Amazon's Senior Vice-President for India and emerging markets, highlighted the growing urban demand for swift delivery of daily essentials. "Commencing December, we will launch this 15-minute delivery service in Bengaluru," he mentioned.

This groundbreaking move signifies Amazon's debut in the global arena of 15-minute delivery services. While the service's name remains under wraps, Agarwal disclosed that the initial Bengaluru rollout will encompass thousands of products, with future plans to extend to other cities.

Joining the ranks of prominent players in India's burgeoning quick commerce sector, Amazon becomes the sixth significant contender, contributing to the sector's annual revenue surpassing $6 billion. With a presence in about 24 cities, key players like Zomato's BlinkIt, Swiggy, and Nexus-backed Zepto dominate the landscape.

The quick commerce landscape in India is on a trajectory of remarkable growth, with Morgan Stanley projections foreseeing a surge to $42 billion by 2030.

In a parallel development, Myntra, a leading player in India's fashion e-commerce domain, recently launched a trial initiative for its quick commerce venture in Bengaluru.

Dubbed "M-Now," this new service aims to deliver fashion and lifestyle products within a swift 30-minute timeframe. Featuring a diverse catalog of 10,000 styles spanning fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, M-Now showcases offerings from esteemed brands like Vero Moda, MANGO, Tommy Hilfiger, MAC, and Bobbi Brown, as per TechCrunch.

Under the umbrella of Flipkart, Myntra caters to a massive audience of approximately 70 million monthly customers. The company has outlined ambitious plans to expand its service to over 100,000 styles within the next three to four months. Initially launched in Bengaluru, M-Now is slated to extend its footprint to major metropolises such as Delhi, Mumbai, and Pune in the near future.
