The goal of the Ayush Visa is to meet the need for a special visa programme for foreigners who want to go to India for treatment using Ayurvedic or Indian methods of medicine.

To make medical value better A Memorandum of Understanding was recently made between the Ministry of Tourism, GoI, and the India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) to expand travel in Ayurveda and other traditional forms of medicine.
