The number of successful business people with Indian Origin continues to grow, with several currently serving in leadership roles at Fortune 500 organizations. Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, was impressed by a list of companies that had people of Indian Origin in the top position that was published on Saturday by World of Statistics.
The World of Statistics has posted a list of 21 organizations whose chief executive officers are of Indian descent on their X (previously Twitter) account. Sundar Pichai (Alphabet), Ajay Banga (World Bank Group), Sanjay Mehrotra (Micron Technology), Shantanu Narayen (Adobe), and many more make the cut.
Musk reflected on the post and wrote, "Impressive" on his micro-blogging account.
Former Tesla CFO Zachary Kirkhorn has stepped down, and Vaibhav Taneja of Indian descent has taken up the role.
Taking to LinkedIn, Kirkhorn announced his departure from the organization after 13 years of service. He also expressed appreciation to Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, for his visionary leadership.
Vaibhav Taneja, our Chief Accounting Officer, has taken over as CFO at Tesla, as was reported this morning. In his blog post, Kirkhorn reflected on his 13 years with the organization and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to work there.
As I take on new duties to facilitate this change, I'd like to express my gratitude to the brilliant, dedicated, and tireless workers at Tesla for making the impossible possible. His leadership and optimism have been an inspiration to many, and I'd like to thank Elon for that.
