Congressman Mike Waltz, as National Security Advisor, praised the US-India bond at the INDUSUSX Summit. He highlighted its pivotal role in shaping the future, stressing ongoing collaboration for a brighter tomorrow. Urging for a free Indo-Pacific, he emphasized protecting India's sovereignty. Waltz, unable to attend the summit, encouraged sustained engagement. He applauded progress in US-India relations, citing joint efforts in technology and defense as key for future prosperity and harmony.

Congressman Mike Waltz, appointed as National Security Advisor by President-elect Donald Trump, recently underscored the significance of the US-India relationship, labeling it as the "most important" bond of the 21st century. Speaking at the US India Strategic and Partnership Forum's INDUSUSX Summit at Stanford University, Waltz expressed his optimism about the pivotal role this partnership would play in shaping the future.

Describing the alliance as critical in determining whether the coming years are characterized by brightness or darkness, Waltz emphasized the need for continued collaboration between the two nations. Despite his absence at the summit due to prior commitments, he relayed a video message urging for sustained efforts towards upholding a free and open Indo-Pacific region while safeguarding India's sovereignty.

Addressing the attendees, Waltz extended an invitation for ongoing engagement, affirming his dedication to nurturing the bond between the US and India. He stressed the importance of maintaining a free and open Indo-Pacific and protecting Indian sovereignty, especially along the Line of Control, to create a world aligned with their shared values for future generations.

Expressing enthusiasm for the growing momentum between the oldest and largest democracies, Waltz called for sustained efforts to build upon the progress achieved. Reflecting on his recent visit to India in August alongside Congressman Ro Khanna, he commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi's inspiring address at the Red Fort during Independence Day celebrations.

Waltz highlighted the remarkable strides in US-India relations, citing initiatives such as iCET and INDUS-X as indicators of the expanding cooperation. He pointed out various areas of collaboration, ranging from joint production of Apache helicopter fuselages to advancements in ship repair, quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and data management, all of which are crucial as both countries navigate the complexities of the 21st century. Let's continue to foster this positive momentum in the US-India relationship, building a future of shared prosperity and progress.
