In an open letter addressed to all Indian citizens, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has outlined the implementation of GST and the repeal of Article 370, two of the most important choices made by his government, in the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections.

He thanked the people for their constant support. Addressing the people as beloved family members, he sought their thoughts as the relationship with the people approaches a decade, all in an effort to realize the goal of a developed India.

The Prime Minister was filled with inspiration every day as he appreciated the faith and support of India's 1.4 billion citizens. He highlighted the incredible change that has occurred over the last decade to emphasize the serious efforts to improve the lives of the poor, farmers, young people, and women.

The remarkable expansion of state-of-the-art infrastructure and the revitalization of the nation's rich cultural heritage are clear indicators of India's journey toward modernity, which he highlighted as a balancing act.

"Today, we have taken several historic and major decisions, thanks to your trust and support. These include implementing GST, abrogating Article 370, passing a new law on Triple Talaq, launching the Nari Shakti Vandan Act to increase women's representation in Parliament, inaugurating a new Parliament building, and taking strong measures against terrorism and Left-Wing Extremism," the prime minister wrote.

Janbhagidari, or public engagement, is the beauty of democracy. Your unwavering backing empowers me to make courageous decisions for the betterment of our nation, to devise ambitious plans, and to see them through to fruition. Together, we can achieve our goal of creating a Viksit Bharat, and I am grateful for, and eager for, your input along the way. "I have faith that we can lead our country to greater heights in the future," he emphasized.
