Recently, a heartwarming culinary tale unfolded in Shenzhen, China, where a video showcasing a Chinese street vendor skillfully preparing Amritsari kulcha went viral, courtesy of the Instagram page Amritsar Is Live. The meticulous process, from rolling out the dough to stuffing it with flavorful fillings, closely mirrored the traditional techniques practiced in Amritsar. The caption accompanying the video joyfully exclaimed, “In Shenzhen, China, we get to experience the famous Amritsari kulcha from Amritsar!”

The video, viewed over 800,000 times, sparked a flurry of reactions from Indian food enthusiasts worldwide. Witnessing this beloved dish being crafted with care in a distant land ignited a sense of pride and joy. Rajdeep Arora playfully remarked, "Butter is the secret ingredient!" Gaganpreet Singh Malhotra, an ardent viewer, expressed, “As an Amritsari, this preparation feels more authentic than even the 'Amritsari Kulcha from Delhi'.” Aarti Sharma shared her excitement, exclaiming, “It’s amazing to see our traditional culinary delights gaining international recognition!”
